NCIME attending the Canadian Conference on Medical Education

The National Consortium for Indigenous Medical Education (NCIME) is excited to be attending Canada’s premier medical education conference, the 2022 Canadian Conference on Medical Education (CCME). Taking place in Calgary, Alberta, the CCME is the largest annual gathering of medical educators in Canada. It provides a platform for health educators, researchers, and administrators to share experiences and promote academic medicine. The conference is hosted by a different Canadian faculty each year in partnership with five of Canada’s leading health organizations and four of NCIME’s core partners – The Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC), the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), the Medical Council of Canada (MCC), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and the Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME). This year, the conference’s theme is ‘Unlearning and Relearning: Reinvigorating the self and the system during times of renewal.’
